You have the gene of a genius. You have exceptional intellectual ability, creative productivity; you also have originality, and you have built into you all that you need to be the success you want to be. If you could achieve all that you were born to do, it will astound you. You have talked yourself out of what you can achieve; you have relinquished the leadership of your life to your past experiences, what people said you are capable of, the impression of family, friends and teachers and all those you hang around with. It’s time to break out of the mold you are encased in and live the life of a genius. It’s time you let go those friends who continually say to you it’s impossible. It’s time you declare and affirm to yourself that you have all that you need on the inside to fulfil your potential and dreams.
To be all that you were born to be you need to awaken the genius within so that you can do all the things you want to do in your lifetime. You need to recreate yourself by tapping into the creativity within you in order to achieve your dream, your purpose, your calling and mission in life. It was Einstein who said that insanity is equal to doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. If you don’t like your current results then change it. If you don’t like the way you do things you can change that too, to start doing things a different way. Recreating yourself is about transformation and change; transformation for better results, changing your belief system to attract whatever you want, and being able to take the required actions and steps to achieve your goals. Charles Bukowski captured recreating yourself in a few beautiful words. He said, “Invent yourself and then reinvent yourself, don't swim in the same slough. Invent yourself and then reinvent yourself and stay out of the clutches of mediocrity. Invent yourself and then reinvent yourself, change your tone and shape so often that they can never categorize you. Reinvigorate yourself and accept what is but only on the terms that you have invented and reinvented. Be self-taught and reinvent your life because you must; it is your life and its history and the present belong only to you.” “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” – George Bernard Shaw If you are hungry and committed to fulfilling your potential, live a great life, live a blazing trail for others to follow, and impact people with your aspirations, then you have to recreate yourself. You have a finite amount of time on this side of life and the more you waste it the more challenging it will be for you to fulfil your heart desires. You have the inner power to have it all but there are things you have to let go of to be the person you need to be, to attract the things you want in your life. It was Jim Rohn who said, “Success is what you attract by the person you become.” When you become, then you can attract and not the other way round. Begin the recreation process and you will begin to see a shift in your life in alignment with where you want to go. Recreating yourself requires a shift in your thinking, the stories you keep telling yourself, the words you use, the people you associate with, the things you read, what you watch, and the actions you take on a daily basis. For things to change, you must change. “You create your life, and you can recreate it, too. In times of economic downturn and uncertainty, it's more important than ever to look deep inside yourself to fathom the sort of life you really want to lead and the talents and passions that can make that possible.” – Ken Robinson
