“Imagine for a moment your own version of a perfect future. See yourself in that future with everything you could wish for at this very moment fulfilled. Now take the memory of that future and bring it here into the present. Let it influence how you will behave from this moment on.” – Deepak Chopra
Brian Tracy likes to say, imagine your ideal future, visualize your life perfect in every respect. You can attain this future when you work on you, let go the excess baggage and take massive actions to achieve massive success. Thomas Edison said, “If we did all the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astonish ourselves.” This profound statement by Edison is so true. The biggest obstacle to achieving massive success is self-imposed limitations or “self-limiting beliefs”. We all have them but some people have so many of these self-limiting beliefs that they are unable to take concrete actions to do what they want to do. Others are completely paralyzed by these beliefs. There are people on the continent of Africa and elsewhere, and perhaps every nation of the world, who believe that there is a person or spirit that is stopping them from realizing and pursuing their dreams. So instead of taking action, they are resigned to the excuse that their lack of success is somebody’s fault. These self-limiting beliefs have stripped millions of people on this continent from fulfilling their potential and they are barely getting by. Your future can be perfect and the best way to ensure that future is perfect is to create it. A self-limiting belief can be an idea that you are limited in some way by someone, or in terms of time, talent, intelligence, money, ability, or opportunity. There is a way to be totally free from these negative constraints. One way of doing this is to change your thinking about who you are and what your possibilities are. You have tremendous opportunities available to you when you see and seize them. Knowing that what you need to have massive exponential success is already deposited in you and believing this fact will begin to shift your way of thinking. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin challenged all people with the following words, “ It is our duty as men and women to proceed as though the limits to our abilities do not exist.” There are no limits to what you can accomplish except the limits you have placed upon yourself. Learn to integrate your empowering and enabling beliefs with your behavior and then and only then will you begin the journey to massive success. Put another way, align you with you! You are your beliefs and you are your behavior. This is why you can never be different from your beliefs. A faulty belief system will trigger wrong behavior patterns. Bob Proctor explains it so beautifully, “Only those individuals whose beliefs are sound… are in harmony with the laws of the universe… and have been integrated with their behavior, will emerge as real winners in the New Economy.” By imagining your future perfect and using your inner powers and help from above, you have the potential of changing your life in amazing ways. Take, for instance, the belief that you are God’s masterpiece, you have greatness in you, you have tremendous potential, you have no limitations whatsoever, and your future is perfect. You then integrate this belief with your daily routine of taking action, massive action, based on this belief. You shock yourself positively with all that you can achieve in your lifetime. You may think that your beliefs are already integrated with your behavior; however, this is far from the truth. There are times you believe one thing and do another thing. For instance, you know that you are not supposed to run the red light and doing so could result in an accident, but every now and then you run the red light anyway. Another example is the belief and knowledge that you should not spend more than you earn, yet millions are in debt as a result of continuing to spend what they do not have. There is a gap between knowing and doing, and belief and behavior. Why not begin to analyze your beliefs and replace the erroneous beliefs with the right ones, then integrate these beliefs with your behavior and watch your results shift in the direction of massive success. Albert E. N. Gray said, “The common denominator of success is in forming the habit of doing the things that failures don’t like to do.” Develop the habit of imagining your future perfect with all the things you want to do, the places you want to visit, the businesses you want to create, the investments you want to undertake, the houses you want to build, the contributions you want to make, the people you want to meet, the life you have imagined, and the actions you need to take to make it all come together. Imagine your life perfect without limitations. How would you like to live? Do you have that picture well developed in your mind? If you were financially independent, what kind of home would you live in? What kind of car would you want to drive? What kind of life would you like to provide for your family? What sort of activities would you like to engage in throughout the week, month, and year? I have no reservations whatsoever that you can achieve massive success. You have the DNA for that and you can achieve financial freedom so that you don’t have to worry about money again. I know this because your future is perfect – and I mean that sincerely.
