What do you really want in life? What are your goals: what do you want to accomplish in your lifetime? What are your career objectives? Whatever your goals, dreams, aspirations, you can achieve them. Whatever your mind can conceive and believe you can achieve it. This is a great statement from one of personal development gurus.
As far as possibilities go, everything is possible for the person who believes — The Bible
We live in a world of possibilities. The opportunities to have it all have never been greater and the avenues toward living the life you imagine are more available to you than ever before. So the question to ask is what is stopping you? Years ago, I left an international consulting firm with the belief that I could set up my own consulting and training business making more money, writing my own checks, and doing better financially than I was in this firm. At first it was scary; I had a young family, not many years of business experience, and I was not known in the market. I had one thing going for me though, and that was faith in my ability to go out and provide excellent service and get paid for it.
My faith, hope, hard work, and commitment to excellence helped me achieve my goals. Soon, I had clients in three countries with contracts lasting a full year and beyond. It is possible that your beliefs may be holding you down. Could it be possible that your current state in life is being dictated by your belief profile? You have to search deep within yourself and ask the hard questions. You will be doing yourself a favor when you do. Why do you feel stuck? Check your beliefs — they may give you a clue as to why you are where you are. Don’t believe everything you read, hear, watch, or see. Draw your own conclusions and don’t accept things at face value. You are an intelligent human being and wired that way. One of the exercises we all have to do is to question our beliefs and unlearn some things.
Life is too short to live your whole life operating on someone’s else’s false interpretation of life events or words they have heard passed on from generation to generation. Be careful what you believe because your belief may be holding you down. It is a statement of fact that all things are possible to those who believe! What are your beliefs? Are these beliefs taking you to where you want to go in life? If not throw out those beliefs and arm yourself with beliefs that lineup with possibility thinking. My question to you is if you could do better, should you?
