Success begins in your mind. If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hands! Achieving your potential and realizing your dreams and vision for your life begins in your mind. You have a dream, an idea buried deep down in your mind and in your heart. It is very difficult to psychologically kill a person with a dream and a mind fixated on goals. At times you can be killed emotionally or psychologically. When your mind stops working on a creative plane, your dream dies and you are a walking dead! If you have a dream and you are disciplined enough to pursue it, nothing can ever stop it from coming to pass.
The only person who can kill your dream is you. Your mind holds the key to the realization of the dreams. Every single individual has a dream – young and old. We each have the ability to dream, pursue our goals and realize our vision. God has put the ability to dream in every one of us. Bisset said “Dreams come a size too big so we can grow into them.” Your dream is a picture and blueprint of your purpose and potential; it is a seed of possibility planted in your soul. Your dream should not be about how or where to get money, instead, it should be about leaving every single person you meet with an impression of increase; help people get what they want; improving your world to be a better place than you met it. To realize any dream, you need capital, and by capital I am not talking about money in the economic sense. You must realize that money is not the most important capital you need to realize your dream. The first and most vital capital is your mind. What you put in your mind, what you meditate on day in day out, what you focus on consistently will determine whether you will be successful or not. What you place in front of you on a daily basis will determine where you will end tomorrow. Tell me what you think about on a daily basis and I will tell you where you are headed tomorrow. What is your mind focused on? What are you using your mind for? You have programmed your mind to think a certain way; the question to ask yourself is this: Is your mind producing the results you want or is it chasing after the wind? We each need a makeover through transformation and by the renewing of our minds. To be transformed means changed by the entire renewal of your mind by new ideals and new attitude. The word transform means: to alter, change, make over, renovate, or convert. To transform your mind calls for a complete makeover so that you can begin to think differently. You will live a better life when you begin to think differently. Transformation is only possible when you are willing to let go of your former way of thinking. How many times have you heard the words Your mind is where earth-shaking ideas are born. Those ideas, if properly harnessed, are more valuable than money. Money answers to your great ideas. If you nurse your ideas long enough and discipline yourself in the direction of your ideas, money will eventually come looking for you. Your mind is where every battle will be fought and won. It is very important what you set your mind upon every day. Get rid of the wrong stuff that won’t do your mind any good and go for inspiring, encouraging, insightful, creative, innovative and educative material that will help you think right. What you focus on expands and what you think about every day is shaping your mind and life. Polish your ideas, refine them and get ready for a great future. What you feed your mind is just as important as what you feed your body. What your mind takes in, what you read, the people you talk with, the music you listen to and the movies you watch are part of your mental diet. What you feed your mind influences and changes your mental health and well-being. Someone said we are good at taking good care of our vehicles but forget to take great care of our most valuable asset – Our Mind. Day dreaming is thinking, planning is thinking, imagining is thinking, reacting to circumstances is thinking and wishing things could have been different for you is thinking. Your beliefs are your thoughts grouped together over many years. Sometimes “bad” things happen to you. What do you think about after a “bad” thing happens to you? Those thoughts are part of what determine your future emotions, words and actions. When you think well, you live well!
