Thoughts ==>Feelings ==> Emotions ==> Actions ==> Results (Things)
Whatever thought you entertain and hold in your mind will create a positive or negative response or feelings. That feeling will ignite certain emotions, positive or negative. Depending on the intensity of the emotions, it will either lead to specific actions or inaction and this is what leads to the results you get. Simply put, your current results first originated in your thought life. As within, so without! Your current results are a manifestation of your inner condition which begins in your thought life. You can change your results by changing your thoughts that created the results in the first place.
When you learn to appreciate and apply the thought-result connection, you will be able to change the trajectory of your life and achieve all the goals you have set for yourself. You should spend time and make an analysis of your thought life. Be honest with yourself as you analyze your thoughts. You will realize that most of your habitual thoughts are the paradigms controlling your life. You act and behave in consonance with your thinking patterns. You have been conditioned to think a certain way and since you can’t be any different from your thoughts, your current state is a summation of all the thoughts you have engaged in for all these years. When your thinking changes, your results also change in tandem!

Your thinking patterns have created your current realities and results and if only you begin to watch what you allow into your mind, you will be able to influence the quality of the results you are getting. In my quest to understand why I do the things I do, act the way I do, why people behave the way they do and do the things they do, and why people will resist change and transformation even if the change is a good thing, I went on a hunt for information to understand the paradox. My search led me to a profound discovery which can be summed up in the words of James Allen, “You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.” This statement objectifies the fact that you are responsible for your current results and will be responsible for your future results. You will continue to create your current realities through what you think about all day long. Your daily actions, behavior, attitude and routines are a result of thought.
Your result as an individual is an inside job. You first create in thought, and then see the results as evidence. The pictures we paint on the canvas of our minds are creating the realities we have. Each one of us is given a LOT (portion) in life and it’s our job to build something wonderful, purposeful, intriguing, amazing, life-changing, on this LOT. The question is what are you building on your LOT?
